50 Things About Me?

Feeling: Excited
Weather: Neutral
Listening To: Fort Minor- Red To Black

Inspired by this post by Tine :D I thought I should give it a go :P

It’s going to be quite long though, since it’s my first time and all.

Dearest Louis and me, caught candidly by the wedding photographer, during one of my foster sister’s wedding in Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia early this June. I think I was telling something to dearest and he was checking the photos he just took. Credits to the photographer and respective studio :)

1. I’m a total bookworm. I absolutely love reading. It is my first absolute love, and my parents said that I actually started reading when I was 2 @_@
2. I also love writing, though I haven’t been writing as much as I want to, mainly due to a lack of time and inspiration :\
3. I type with my two middle fingers (But I can type relatively fast). The reason for this is because I learnt typing on an old typewriter when I was young, and my two middle fingers were the only fingers strong enough to hit the keys ~_~
4. I have mild OCD. There are certain rituals I need to perform with certain things, especially regarding my face and hands (Yes I do wash them more often than most people).
5. You may not realise it seeing me now, but as a teenager I had a severe acne attack, but it cleared thanks to diligent facials and hormonal medication. It partly contributed to my OCD (As I do not ever want another acne attack ever again) and as a result I am also serious about my skincare- products and ritual :P
6. This only applies at home- I cannot go to the toilet (For business number 2) without a book/magazine/something to read :x
7. I love notebooks. Especially leather-bound ones and Moleskine notebooks. Though when I buy them, I can’t find the heart to actually write in them D:
8. I actually started blogging in 2002, on Pitas, then Livejournal, then I was hosted by various friends until I bought this domain myself. I wrote everything (Design, entries, etc) through HTML and I only recently embraced WordPress which is why the archives are all gone. They’re only in my HDD :P
9. I am really, really poor at Maths ._.
10. Of all music genres my favourite is rock music. Any type of rock music.

Different Religions

Feeling: Pensive
Weather: Neutral
Listening To: Bruno Mars- Talking To The Moon

Disclaimer: This post is written in my knowledge, my thoughts and my experience, and if religion is something you feel very strongly about, I suggest you skip this post, though this is not a rant about religion.

It’s no secret that dearest Loius and me are born and raised with different religions (He is a Roman Catholic, I am a Buddhist/Taoist mix- the typical Malaysian Chinese religion I’d say), though many would think otherwise for some reason :P For those who do know, it’s always the inevitable questions:

“How do you/you guys handle it?”

“Are you going to convert?/Will you convert?”

“What will your/his parents say?”

And so on and so forth.

The Story Of My Thomas Sabo Charm Bracelet

Feeling: Hyper And Tired At The Same Time
Weather: Warm
Listening To: Train- Hey Soul Sister

I love jewellery, no doubt about it- especially necklaces and bracelets :) I’m always on the lookout for nice ones (Latest being the Foxy Originals Heaven necklace which I simply adore!), and when I do get one I tend to wear it for a very long time and hardly ever change it until the next one comes along. But if there’s one piece of my personal jewellery- necklace or bracelet, that means a lot to me, it has to be my Thomas Sabo charm bracelet.

Even though I love bracelets, I’m quite picky with them since I’m right-handed (I am quite picky with necklaces too, but just the length), and any bulky ones will impair my writing ability (And I normally do quite a fair bit of writing), and my left wrist is short of space because I wear a watch there, and it’s always on 24/7 :P However, I’ve been wearing my Thomas Sabo charm bracelet ever since I got it! And you shall see why ;)

I’ve always loved charm bracelets. The significance of, or at least the ability to attach significance to the charms and/or the bracelet appeals to me. Of course a Tiffany & Co. one would be out of my league for now, so the next best thing was Thomas Sabo :P

I’m Still Alive!

Feeling: Happy
Weather: Cold
Listening To: LMFAO Featuring Natalia Kills- Champagne Showers

Yeap!

Just came back from the 35th Bon Odori 2011 festival with dearest and couldn’t be happier :) I’ve been quite busy (As usual) with my application to Nanyang Technological University Singapore and work (Am helping Dad), so blogging is currently taking a back seat although I really have things to write about! Hopefully things will start to peter out (Fingers crossed) so I can dedicate some time to updating, yes? :)

Oh, and since I’m not a fan of a lot of word-only posts (Without any pictures/photos) on my blog particularly, I’m going to include this because it amuses me A LOT haha:

It’s from Obsessive Corgi Disorder. And thankfully, my corgi isn’t like that XD
