Feeling: Slightly Tired

I won’t be going anywhere for the New Year’s celebration or countdown this year (As usual, I don’t every year anyway XD), since traffic is going to be unbelievably heavy and everywhere will be jam-packed with people @_@ Just not really worth getting worked up over people banging into you or trodding on your feet, etc. At least, that’s my opinion >_> Celebrating with other people can be fun, but sometimes depending on the situation it’s just not for me :P I’d rather stay home and have a quiet countdown snuggling Louis this year ♥
So… what are you thankful for this year?
For me, the most major thing I am thankful for is having met Louis, and having him in my life as well as being in his life. Yes, ever since we got together, life has not been easy for the both of us- him with his business, studies and work (And his parents moving to Sarawak for work), and me with my family and studies, etc. But the both of us have chosen to ride this out together, so that we may be stronger and able to go through the worst of the worst together :3 And I’m glad that I have made this decision. I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world ♥
I’m also thankful for the people I’ve met the entire year, and for those whom I’ve got to known better (You all should know who you are :P), even if we’re not too close in the end, or even if we have gotten closer. I’ve learnt to love people as they are, flaws and all, and not hate instead, because hating someone is a terrible burden.
So all in all, it has been a wonderful year despite all the setbacks and obstacles that may have appeared. Goodbye 2009, hello 2010 :3 Happy New Year, everyone! ♥
And as for resolutions… what resolutions o_O

This post is continued from here :3 Dear dear and my trip to Malacca.
Feeling: Relaxed
Weather: Cool

Dear dear Louis and I went for our first holiday together to Malacca on Sunday, 27th December 2009 to Tuesday, 29th December 2009 :3 It was an awesome trip, despite some minor glitches here and there, but after all it is our first holiday together, so I guess we’re still learning :P
All of the photos (And a few more) are on an album on my Facebook account, but I’ve decided to make a post here for the sake of posterity too anyway :D Plus, there’ll be more verbosity here compared to my Facebook album >_>
The photo above is pretty much a memento of our trip- a printed out photo of dear dear and me holding an albino python at the square in front of the Christ Church Malacca, the clock tower and Stadthuys and ticket stubs from our visits to the Malacca Zoo, the museum complex around Stadthuys, the Tortura 2 exhibition in a museum near A’ Famosa Fort (Exhibition of medieval torture methods and implements!) and the Malacca River Cruise :3
I’m going to be writing the travelogues for days 1 and 2 in this post, and day 3 in the next post XD
The bedrooms in my house (Mum’s, mine and little brother’s) are getting repainted within these few days, mine being the last to be repainted… meaning I will be celebrating New Year’s with my room being painted D: I shall take this opportunity to rearrange the clutter in my room, I guess :P
Feeling: Slightly Hungry
Weather: Cool

Remember the end of this post, where I mentioned how my dear dear Louis is a famous man? :P
I’ve managed to scan up the newspaper article he appeared in! XD
Click on it to read the full article, if you’re interested. However, don’t take anything he says seriously >_> The journalist person twisted his words around, as per usual with journalists and publicity.
Now I shall wait for him to come back from class and bring me out for lunch. I’m hungry ;_;
Feeling: Hyper-ish

… :3 ♥ Going through everything together, no matter what, and coming out of it stronger than ever. Here’s to a lifetime together with you dear.
Long overdue post :D Now that the assignments are out of the way. Just some real studying to be done for now, especially for Biopsychology ;_; So anyway, here’s what I (And Louis, partially) has been up to lately :D It’s going to be rather long (I did say it’s an overdue post XD)… and rather image intensive too.

1. Gotten an awesome new squeak squeak mouse and squeak squeak mouse pad quite some time ago :3

The mouse pad is courtesy of Louis (He recommended and bought it for me), because my old one is really worn out :x It’s a SteelSeries QcK Mini, because I don’t have a huge table space for the bigger ones D: It’s a cloth mouse pad (As compared to the plastic ones I’ve been accustomed to for ages already), but nonetheless, it’s good :D

I had to get a new mouse to go with the mouse pad, though, because my old Logitech laser notebook mouse wouldn’t work properly on it >_> I ended up getting the Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000, and the new mouse and mouse pad works very well together. Good and smooth control, not too slippery and not too laggy ♥ I’m still having to get used to the larger size of the mouse though- since I’ve been using a notebook mouse, but it’s still thankfully smaller than most gaming mice, which are too big for my hands @_@

2. Also, Louis and me had turned into kids :D We should never be let loose in Toys ‘R’ Us any more >_>

His and hers Choro Q Steer sets! :P I got the Impreza WRX (The blue one) and Louis got the Skyline GTR R32 (The silver one). It’s just really so much fun racing them around the room! >_< And of course, bullying Louis, although I am a really bad driver ;_;

A close-up shot of my Impreza WRX Choro Q Steer set ♥ There had been some problems with it, but Louis managed to figure and sort it out. He’s a really handy person to have around, as he’d really try his best to fix up everything for me nicely so I can enjoy it to the fullest :3

Louis’s Skyline GTR R32 Choro Q Steer set… with his new(-ish) HTC Dream, although it’s more widely known as the T-Mobile G1, or in some cases, the Google Android, depends :P He got it second-hand obviously, in excellent condition, and he’s enjoying it thus far, which I’m glad :3 It’s also apparently a rather rare phone (Hence the second-hand availability) especially in Malaysia for now… not that it’s a bad thing to the both of us because we like being special, but then again the drawback is finding accessories for it is a pain >_>

3. I’ve FINALLY gotten my HTC Hero PDA phone! Mwahahahaha! The one month wait is finally over and Dad has agreed to buy it for me :3 Got it from the same place where I got my old HTC TyTN II from- Fresh Gear at Digital Mall Section 14.

Now I am also Android equipped, as Louis’s T-Mobile G1 is also running on Android and together, Louis and me are now an Android couple XD Oh, and also the fact that both phone designs look almost similar :P I got the HTC Hero PDA phone in the brown colour, as it’s a more practical choice (And I like dark colours), although I wouldn’t have minded the white either :P Both colours are equally nice in their own right, and since I always keep my phone in a seperate pouch or a case, it wouldn’t be too bad I guess D: Although, that being said, Mum and Louis agrees that brown is nicer than white XD Am loving it so much so far.

The HTC Hero in its Capdase leather case. Not much freebies this time- only a 8GB MicroSD card and a screen protector, but better than nothing I guess :\ Thus far I am loving the Android operating system because it’s smooth, highly customisable, sleek and user-friendly, and this is the first time I have actually voluntarily chosen a full touch screen phone for myself :x I used to shun full touch screen phones because they’re cumbersome to send text messages with and pressure sensitive (Particularly with calls + earrings = accidentally pressing something), but not the HTC Hero, which is why I chose it :D
Not to mention that I have a resident technology/electronic expert to help me out should I encounter any problem at all with my new toy- software or hardware kekeke.
My only gripe about the HTC Hero, is that I can’t hang my phone charm on it ;_; But whhhhhyyyyyyyyyyyy~
The road trip down to Malacca earlier was fun, although the initial rain and freezing winds were a pain D: Did a fair bit of shopping, and gotten Louis’s parents a Christmas present :3 Hopefully they’ll like it. I kind of enjoy road trips with my parents to places like Malacca and Genting Highlands, although I do want to travel and have a holiday with Louis as well. Ah, soon ♥
Time to sleep >_> My biological clock is whacked.
Oh, shame on me, I almost forgot. My dear dear is a famous man! Case in point :D I shall scan the newspaper article and upload it here as well. The article actually came out in the hardcopy of The Star newspaper, so yeah :P Although what he really said has been twisted out of context D: Typical journalists and marketing people :x Billboards, flyers, TV and newspapers… hmm not bad XD
