Hello there! I just got back from my holiday trip to Singapore with Mum and dearest Louis yesterday, and we were there from Tuesday, 17th August 2010 to Saturday, 21st August 2010 :D A proper post (Or two… or three, depends) on the trip will be up soon, as we got back around 12.30 a.m. and I am still in post-holiday recovering mode XD
Singapore was awesome as a whole. It’s clean, safe, convenient and a true shopping heaven (Most of the stuff still works out to be cheaper than in Malaysia despite the higher exchange rate), although I still have mixed feelings for the people there :x Some can be really really nice and know their stuff, while others can be just plain rude.
So… my haul from Singapore includes:

A 64GB Wi-Fi Apple iPad (Birthday present from Dad :D), whose box I had to sadly dispose of in Singapore for fear of customs tax… but in the end they didn’t even open the bags! :( Oh well :P Now I have Windows, Android and Apple XD

Lots of clothes from Desigual in VivoCity (The wild, colourful ones :D) and UniQlo in 313@Somerset (A relatively famous Japanese brand, and I got a lovely lightweight trench coat from here) :3 I can safely say this is the first time I went wild clothes shopping XD Malaysia cannot hope to compare here.

Various souvenirs (And not to mention photos) from Chinatown, Singapore Zoo and its Night Safari, Underwater World and a Singapore expedition journal from the National Geographic Store in VivoCity ♥ Oh, and I also managed to try Ben & Jerry’s! :D

T-shirts from Chinatown, Singapore Zoo and Underwater World :D Apart from the peacock one from Singapore Zoo, the rest are kids tees… in large size, and I can fit them orz.
I want to go back to Singapore ;_; Or stay there ;_;

P.S. I got a pedicure from Colour Culture in Sunway Giza Kota Damansara (Nice place, comfortable too!) before my trip to Singapore, and got the Catch Me In Your Net colour from O.P.I. It’s a lovely, lovely colour! Bluish metallic green that looks quite ethereal. The photo just does not do it justice :(
There’s no Ben & Jerry’s in Malaysia? O.o?!
Anyway, can’t wait to read your full entry on the trip! :D
Wow, a shopping spree
@Arell: We do have Ben & Jerry’s sold by the tub (Medium sized) in super/hypermarkets, but no Ben & Jerry’s kiosks :( It’s sweeter than Baskin Robbin’s, though! D: I’ll blog them up after I process the photos… all 700+ of it XD
@Bearbear: Diam diam you!
