Goodbye 2010!

Feeling: Peckish
Weather: Cold
Listening To: Red Hot Chilli Peppers- Under The Bridge

Another year is ending, and another new year is dawning on us…

The year 2010 has been a bit of a blur for me to be honest, especially the first few months- I spent quite some time wondering what I’ve been doing but can’t think of anything specific and really really memorable, but I wouldn’t say it has been a bad year overall :)

My brief year in review, hopes, worries and wishes

Merry Christmas

Feeling: Ache-y
Weather: Rainy
Listening To: Far East Movement Featuring Snoop Dog- O.M.G (If I Was You)

To everyone who celebrates it, a Merry Christmas, and to those who don’t, happy holidays :D It seems to be (Apart from New Year, that is) the only holiday in the world where a majority of countries celebrate it :P

Here’s this year’s Christmas decor for Mid Valley Megamall :) There was a Santa Claus in the middle there as I was taking this photo, hence the amount of people XD It’s quite pretty, too bad I was at the second top floor while taking this photo- it’s not that very clear ;(

This is for Tropicana City Mall, taken after closing hours when dearest Louis and me were waiting to watch a movie there- dearest brought me to watch Tangled and it was awesome :D It has been so long since our last late night movie date!

This year I’ll be attending Christmas mass with dearest and his parents later, and tomorrow afternoon will be having Christmas lunch with them as well as my Mum and little brother. This is the first time I’ll be celebrating Christmas with dearest and his parents, as last year they were still in Sibu, Sarawak :)

Also, Mum was ill, and dearest’s mother made tong yuen for us instead for the Winter Solstice Festival last Wednesday! It was quite yummy- though I personally don’t take much of it… but it’s a once a year treat and part of our Chinese culture and tradition so yeah :P

The normal tong yuen :3 I think I don’t really like tong yuen because of the ginger-based soup (I dislike ginger) and the stickiness of the glutinous balls… but this was all right. Just nice :D

Bigger tong yuen with peanut filling :9 I like this one more, but it’s stickier D:

Smile, And The Whole World Smiles…

Feeling: Excited
Weather: Cool
Listening To: Oasis- Wonderwall

… with you ♥

The holidays are upon me, and I am savouring it as much as I can :P Relaxing, shopping, even cleaning my room- it’s good to have something else to do besides studying, attending classes (Even though I enjoy Ms. Winnee‘s classes) and rushing assignments. I’m extending another semester to finish up my electives (Sadly, there still doesn’t seem to be any nice electives I would actually want to take T_T), however since I can’t apply for my Masters until June 2011, so might as well not waste the time eh :P

I’ve decided to be a little bit random and write a post about what makes me happy (Material-wise) lately :D That is, apart from spending time with dearest Louis (Who is currently busy with work and assignments) and my family, which I am sure are pretty much understood :P

It’s going to be quite a lengthy post I suppose >_>

What material stuff makes me happy

Christmas In The Air

Feeling: Sleepy
Weather: Rainy
Listening To: Far East Movement- Rocketeer

Taking a break from studying. Final exams are on the 11th December 2010 (Yes, a Saturday D: Afternoon nonetheless), then from 13th to 15th December 2010. Putting in a bit more effort for PSY308 Forensic Psychology and PSY304 Cognitive Psychology :P

Was at 1 Utama last Wednesday with dearest, though we had time for walking around the New Wing because we went there a tad bit late after having sent my dog for his grooming at Diva 9 Pet Salon earlier (Highly recommended, they do a really good job, especially May) and I also had my facial treatment at 128 Faubourg (Which I wrote about here >_>). I was quite excited to see the Christmas decor because the last time dearest and me went there they were undergoing massive renovations to put the decor up :D

The Christmas decor at 1 Utama New Wing is unbelievably pretty this year! They also had lots of booths that really piqued my interest- as Christmas booths hardly do since they usually sell the usual Christmas gift sets :P And while we were there and having dinner at Robot Sushi which is near the centre court, there was carolling too and we could hear it loud and clear XD It’s just so Christmas-y!

Couldn’t resist snapping a photo because of the prettiness :3 Dearest took this photo with his phone because he’s better at taking self-photos :P I bought him a Christmas edition Spongebob Squarepants tin of popcorn… mainly for the tin because it’s a Christmas edition and he loves Spongebob Squarepants XD Did I mention how much I love my bear? :3

I’m excited to see the completed Christmas decors at the Old Wing, as well as Mid Valley Megamall (Thought it’ll be a bit of a pain to go there because of the school holidays now) and The Curve :D They were all unfinished and in the process of being put up/built the last time we went there… so yeah. Though from what I have seen of the unfinished decor Mid Valley Megamall and The Curve seem to share the similar “toy land” concept o_O Will take photos and update once I have been there and seen them :D

Oh and Christmas season = sales season yay! XD (Though I have to battle my finals first T_T)
